About the Author

Olamide Elizabeth Adeleye is a lawyer, Chartered Arbitrator, poet, author, and real estate developer. She earned her law degree from the University of Ibadan in 2000, was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2002 and later obtained her Master of Laws (LLM) from Queen Mary University, University of London. Olamide currently runs her own legal practice as Principal Partner at YBA & CO. Solicitors in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

Her latest passion lies in real estate development, helping Nigerians in the diaspora with projects, especially those disappointed by sending money home to trusted loved ones. She has extensive experience in consultancy, solicitor’s work, and research in Property and Land Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). As Academic & Training Advisor to the FELIREP (Female Lawyers in Real Estate Practice) Advisory Board, she continues to impact professional development, coaching, and mentorship.
